​After 4 years of mochiandjolie.com's launch, we have decided it was about time to give our website a total new look. This time not only we wanted to change the whole look of the website to be more modern, clean and user friendly, but we also wanted to include our own online flagship store. SuperZoo 2012 Wrap Up

This September, we headed to SuperZoo in Las Vegas again! It is always a great place to be, showcasing the latest and existing product lines, meeting new customers and hugging old friends. This year's event was exactly the same and more. We were happy to introduce our brands and products tomore boutique owners and buyers. We are working hard for a successful year of 2012 and beyond! :)

Our bosses, Mochi and Jolie seemed like had a great time at the show too! They were so popular at the show, many people came to take their photos and they acted like pros. They gave out many hugs and kisses too! :)

Launching New Brand - MoMo

After a long time's designing, planning, preparing, and many samples to work and approve on, the new brand MoMo™ is finally launched! It is officially launched on Mochi's birthday, 8-6-2012. 

MoMo™ is a brand we specially designed for all the dog lovers, like us. We want to create something not only unique but also practical, not only easy and fun, but also chic and fresh. We are taking our own spin on improving our daily life products. The first product line we are launching with the new brand is our MoMo™ Watch Collection. The first watch group has five fabulous designs: Maltese, Chihuahua, Dachshund, Frenchie and Labrador. The watches have clear faces and clear bands, not only it is easy to match any outfits, but it showcases the design to the best. A simple red MoMo™ logo is popping out on the watch face with a perfect finish. Such a simple and fun way to tell the time and tell the world how much you love your furry friend!

Mochi & Jolie Online Store Grand Opening!

After many months' careful planning and designing, our own Mochi & Jolie Online Store is finally here! The grand opening is today - 7.8.2012! We are so excited!! Now not only we can offer all of our fabulous products directly to the customers, but also we can host some special and fun online events in the near future. The possibilities are endless!   

Mochi & Jolie has been selected to exhibit at Unique LA Show!

We are so excited to announce this great news -- Mochi & Jolie has been selected to exhibit at the upcoming 4th annual UNIQUE LA spring show!

Unique LA is the largest independent design show in the country, attendees get the rare chance to meet and shop directly from over 325 hand-selected designers and artists. All of the products at the show are made right here in the USA.

Unique LA is the only event out there that focuses on and features modern, curated, Made-in-America goods. They are passionate about great design and the craft of Made in the USA, just like us. :-)

So mark your calendar and prepare for a super fun May weekend! Come and say hello!

When: May 12 & 13 (Saturday & Sunday)  //  11am – 6pm both days

Where:The California Market Center (110 East Ninth Street, LA, CA 90079)

Cost: $10 at the door or online (Kids 12 and under are free), 10% of ticket sales go to the local non-profit organization CicLAvia.

Super Zoo 2011 -- Las Vegas

It is always good to visit Las Vegas once a while, especially in September, because that is when Super Zoo is on.

This year, Super Zoo was a sold out show. There were still companies on the waiting list trying to get a booth to exhibit. What a booming industry! Lots of people visited our booth, old friends, new faces, and felt like we barely had a moment stop talking for a while. Though the overall economy is still not fully recovered yet, but we noticed quite a few brand new boutique stores are opening everywhere. Those new store owners are young, ambitious, and full of fresh ideas. We love to see new blood come in and bring fresh concepts and ideas to this industry. And hopefully they will bring more great products and services to the customers and their pups! What a great show it was! Fun, exciting, and inspiring!

So long, Vegas, for now. We will be back next year this time again. Till then, enjoy life and stay well! 

California Gift Show (July 22 - 25, 2011)

This summer we attended our very first non-pet show: California Gift Show in Los Angeles. It is a very different experience for us and we have made many new friends. It is specially happy for us to see some familiar faces when we were there.

Since this is a non-pet show, buyers are from all kind of different fields. 7 out of 10 buyers walked into our booth and thought all these clothes are made for human babies and kids. When they were told these are for the pups, they all laughed and amazed. We took that as a compliment every time. :)

Strut Your Mutt - Los Angeles - Sept. 19, 2010

At the very core of all the work of Best Friends Animal Society is the dream that one day kindness will replace cruelty, and animals will no longer be destroyed because they are unwanted or imperfect. Spaying and neutering will become commonplace, and adoption will be the first choice for everyone. Shelters will have the knowledge and resources to help rehabilitate special-needs animals and find the right family for every animal. Making this dream a reality is the mission they call No More Homeless Pets®.

More than five million beautiful, healthy animals are euthanized in shelters every year. Supporting the fundraising efforts for Best Friends is one way we can help to change that tragic reality. Mochi & Jolie Dog Pack walked on 9-19-2010 to support Best Friends Animal Society's Los Angeles programs. We had such a fun time walking in Santa Monica in the early morning. Take a look some of the photos. :)

PET FASHION WEEK NEW YORK 2010 RECAP

Pet Fashion Week New York 2010 is already over almost a month ago. And we just found some time to recap some of the fun moments.

It is a long flight to New York, Jolie has to come out of her carrier and take a break. :)

JoJo's first resort line -- "JoJo's Best Friends" will be introduced this Summer.

Buddha Bark Dog Fashion Show -- Back Stage

Buddha Bark Event Venue -- Chaz Dean Studio in Hollywood

We went to Chaz Dean Studio in Hollywood and did a venue walk through for the upcoming Buddha Bark two- day event today. The place is amazingly beautiful and serene. It is calm and peaceful, at least for today. Tomorrow this place is going to be filled with our four-legged friends and their parents, media, press, and tons of exciting energy! Let the show begin!

Buddha Bark Canine Style Lounge Fashion Show

Mochi & Joliehas been invited to be a part of the Buddha Bark Canine Style Lounge Fashion Show. This is our first official doggie fashion show and we are very excited! Stay tuned for more to come!

Two doggie days on June 4th and 5th, when Buddha Bark, the most trusted source for canine wellness, showcases products/brands, services, and solutions to dogs, their celebrity guardians, and the media. The mission: to help dogs and their guardians live a richer and more integrated, holistic life. The festive event will be held at the famed Chaz Dean Studio in Hollywood and benefiting Best Friends Animal Society, Much Love Animal Rescue and Linda Blair World Heart Foundation.
